Crafty sadness.

I don't want this to be a depressing post. I just wanted to express here that sometimes, I am saddened by how hard it seems to be to get people to want to come "get crafty". I wonder, is it finances that keep people from coming, is it time restrictions, is it worry of another persons opinion of your work, is it lack of confidence in your "skills" at the craft, is it the location, is it the hostess?? I want only to share my love of all things crafting, no matter your craft, your skill etc. Crafting isn't about a certain skill level, it is about getting messy, having fun, spending time with like minded people.

Go, get your craft on and spread the love.

Inaugural Post

It is impossible to read on the photo...

"Join me as I talk about preserving my families story through scrapbooking, while hoping that I inspire you to preserve your stories. Our history is so much a part of who we are. For our children we are creating history everyday. It is our job to write it, photograph it, record it, so they can look back and see where they come from and hopefully help them get to where they are going."

This is my mission. To help you take the journey that is memory keeping. I am going to approach this blog as if, you, my reader is a new Scrapbooker, and each post will be us having a continuing conversation about that "next step" in your memory keeping process. We will, hopefully, get to know each other, laugh, joke, probably cry a little and in the process create fabulous memories together, all the while preserving your families story.

I will post tips, tricks, challenges, stories, questions and sometimes just my thoughts. I really hope you will join me on this adventure. Whether you are truly new to Scrapbooking or have been enjoying this fabulous hobby for more years than you care to admit, I hope you find your place here, because there is a place for everyone.

Regards,
Marjorie
